Bela's Bees Raw Honey: Buckwheat
Bela's Bees Raw Honey: Buckwheat
Buckwheat honey has a darker amber colour and tastes slightly less sweet than regular honey. Buckwheat flowers are very small, so our honey bees have to work even harder to gather their nutritious nectar. Buckwheat honey is higher in antioxidants than regular honey, making it a delicious and healthy addition to your day.
It's the perfect honey for honey cake, but you can also use it to sweeten your tea, spread it on your toast, use it in your cooking and baking, or eat it by the spoonful to soothe sore throats and coughs.
Each 270g jar of Bela’s Bees Raw Honey is brought to you by our beloved honey bees at Bela Farm's Bee Sanctuary in Hillsburgh, Ontario, and the hard work and loving hands of hundreds of volunteers who have planted flowers in our Bee Sanctuary, cared for our bees, and harvested honey.Â
From spring to fall, our industrious bees gather nectar from the millions of unsprayed wildflowers at Bela Farm. They bring this clean nectar back to their hives and evaporate it into honey.Â
Our honey is Ontario #1 Golden and is kosher.Â
